This week I am so excited to celebrate the 12th year of Message of Freedom Church! It has been a long road, full of great memories, exciting times, and a few rough patches along the way. Over the past 12 years we have been so privileged to have had so many different people be part of this ministry. Many still come and are an active part, others have been led to follow different paths as they follow God. But all who have been connected to this ministry in one way or the other over the years hold a special place in our hearts. If I could express one thought that encompasses the past 12 years it would be “the faithfulness of God.” He has been so very faithful in this ministry. Since our conception with 51 people in a conference room in Fairmont, over 12 years ago, God has exceeded our expectations as He takes us from faith to faith and glory to glory. We have literally seen hundreds of souls added to the Kingdom of God through His faithfulness. I feel privileged to simply be a small part of what God has done with this ministry over the years. We went from seeing people pack into a fire department garage, to a small Methodist church in Broadway, to the facility that we currently house today. Through God’s faithfulness we have kept the Message of Freedom Television Broadcast on the air in North Central West Virginia, where literally thousands can turn on their televisions and experience a “message of freedom.” We have continued to evangelize through Tent Crusades. It seems as though God has been faithful to allow us to spread the gospel on every hill and valley in this area. And over the past 5 years we have literally taken the gospel to countries across the globe through missions. Through the years, God has been faithful in keeping our purpose clear, to preach the truth of God’s word and hold up a standard in the midst of uncertain times. I understand that God sometimes leads us all down separate paths, but if you have ever been a part of this ministry over the past 12 years I want to personally thank you for allowing God to use you to help fulfill His plan. I also want to thank all of you who currently make up this church body. At times when I felt like giving up, God used you to express His faithfulness to me and my family. No matter what path you are currently walking as you follow God, I would like to invite you to a special celebration service and dinner tomorrow, February 7th at 10:30 AM, as we celebrate how faithful God has been to this ministry over the past 12 years! I praise the Lord for the great things He has done, is currently doing, and the plans He has for our future! We hope to see you there!
