What We Believe

1. Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the infallible rule of faith and conduct; that it was written by Holy men of old as they were moved by the the Holy Spirit.

II Peter 1:19, 21 II Timothy 3:16-17

2. The Godhead
We believe that there is one true and living God; that in the unity of the Godhead, there are three, equal in attributes, but executing distinct harmonious offices.

God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, and all that is therein, sent His only Son to redeem and reconcile the world to Himself.

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Ghost, became flesh and dwelt among us, the only Mediator between God and man.

Holy Ghost, the third person of the Trinity, omnipresent, omnipotent, fulfilling on earth the office of reprover of sin, righteousness, and judgment, the Comforter, leader and guide to all who yield themselves to Him ministration.

Romans 5:12, 21

4. Plan of Redemption
We believe that while we are yet sinners, Christ died for us; that His death was by divine appointment of the Father as an atonement for sin. That upon simple faith and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ, all who call upon Him, may be justified by faith through His precious blood, that Salvation is through grace and not by only merits of our own.

8. The Lord’s Supper
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a memorial of His suffering and death. The broken bread, used in its commemoration is a type of the bread which came down from heaven, even Jesus Christ, whose body was broken for us; the wine, to remind us of the shed blood of the Savior, the Lamb of God. The ordinance spans he years from Calvary to the coming of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and is enjoined upon every believer.

Mark 14:22-24 I Corinthians 11:23-30

9. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
